Cocoonerlife began in the most ordinary way…

A mum, exhausted, worried, and trying everything she could to help her child sleep.

If you’ve ever lived through months (or years) of broken sleep with a child, you know it’s not just “tired.” It affects everything — their mood, their learning, their ability to cope, and the whole rhythm of family life.

What surprised me most wasn’t just how hard it was…

It was how often it wasn’t taken seriously.

Sleep was treated like an afterthought — by professionals, by schools, and sometimes even by well-meaning people around us. But as a mum, I could see what it was doing to my child. I could feel it in our home.

And I reached a point where I thought:

If this isn’t being solved properly, I’m going to create something that helps.

That’s where Cocooner started.

Not from a business plan — but from a mother’s instinct to protect, comfort, and support her child.

I wanted something that felt like calm.
Something that felt like safety.
Something a child could reach for and instantly feel more settled.

And I cared just as much about how it was made as what it did.

Because when you’re wrapping something around your child — especially a child with sensory needs — quality matters. Texture matters. Sensitivity matters. The feeling matters.

Today, Cocoonerlife is a small, family-run business that created our hero product - the Cocoonerblanket.
